Hi, I'm Kira.

I'm a sophomore at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan, studying industrial design. Originally from Canada, I moved to Detroit to be able to pursue my passion for industrial design.

I've always been creative, constantly drawing, building, and exploring different ways to bring ideas to life. Since being at the College for Creative Studies I have been able to develop my drawing and visual storytelling skills further to communicate my design concepts better while strengthening my 3D modeling abilities to be able to bring my designs to life. Studying industrial design has allowed me to merge creativity with practical problem-solving to create intuitive, accessible, and user centred designs. I strive to create work that is accessible to everyone. I'm especially interested in sustainability and integrating eco-conscious thinking into my designs. My goal is to design with both functionality and inclusivity in mind, ensuring that what I create can be used by as many people as possible.
